Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang believes Arsenal have qualified for the Europa League Final
Aubameyang's faith doubled after his team secured victory over Valencia in the first leg of the semi-final.
Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is optimistic his team will qualify for the Europa League final this season.
Aubameyang put his side in an advantageous position after contributing one goal in a 3-1 win over Valencia in the first leg of the semi-final earlier this morning, and the results at the Emirates Stadium last night he called could be a valuable capital to face meetings at Mestalla which is predicted to be difficult.
Arsenal conceded first after Mouctar Diakhaby put his name on the scoresheet in the 11th minute, but it was instant reply by Alexandre Lacazette's brace before Aubameyang secured the hosts' victory ahead of dispersal.
To BT Sport, Aubameyang said: "We did not start the match well, but our reaction was good and in the end we played very well," he said.
"We started the game with a little nervous because we lost three matches before this. I thought that was normal because we were just ordinary humans. But after that we reacted well.
"I think we have a lot of quality in this team. We can qualify for the Europa League final, but we know the next match will be difficult. But if we display the same game as tonight, we will qualify.
"Last year our trip ended in the semi-finals. We have learned a lot from mistakes last year and hopefully this year will not have the same fate. We will put everything in order to qualify for the Champions League."
The second leg of the Europa League semi-final is scheduled to be held at the Mestalla on Friday (10/5) early morning WIB.
